The LG’s Nexus android phone looks pretty sharp; LG has made some quality products in the past, but only a few recently. The Nitro HD was a huge step in the right direction. The Optimus G looks phenomenal. So if this is similar to it I’d say it will be an excellent device once a final builds is released. I did love the Samsung Galaxy Nexus while I had it, and still prefer it over the iPhone 5 and GS3; stock Jelly Bean is fast, beautiful, and light on resources. I can only imagine how Jelly Bean will zip with that entire horsepower under the hood.
I’m somewhat skeptical of this, usually the Nexus devices have come out alongside a new version of Android, and since Jelly bean just came out in July, it seems premature to think that this device will be available anytime soon. It also doesn’t seem to be much improved when compared to the galaxy nexus. LG makes the worst and biggest flops of android phones around. Why would Google trust a nexus phone with a terrible company? They are a bottom of the barrel cell phone company. Why not HTC, Sony, Motorola? I’m glad it isn’t Samsung again but why the worst of the worst manufacturer? Not a good decision at all in my opinion.
Why does this thing look so huge? Are they going to ever make a normal size Nexus again or just palettes? I thought Android was about choice. Why can’t they make a 4″ one and a 5″ one?
I think if the production model ends up being at LEAST 32GB it could be a decent phone. However, as others have mentioned, “with Google” generally means a vanilla-sequel experience, NOT a Nexus line phone. Either way, I’m looking forward to hearing more about this phone. Nexus or not. I’m also looking forward to the other Google phone that should be released soon as well.
I can’t wait for Google to start making their android phones. It seems like the next logical step. I’m sick of these disappointing Nexus phones and waiting for the latest Android OS on any other phone. It’s hard to believe that only one phone a year comes out with Vanilla Android. Might I add I’m an Android user that moved from the iPhone two years ago? Currently using an S3 and love it. I just wish I didn’t have to wait for the newest firmware all the time.
